When you come to La MaMa, you are going to see something bold, unpredictable. Not something that tells you what you already know or is predictable. And that’s something that requires support.

The $24 million capital renovation of La MaMa's landmark building at 74A East 4th Street has preserved its historic facade and transformed its interior with ADA accessible spaces, flexible performance venues, and a data-wide building network to facilitate cross-cultural engagement across distance.

While the building is officially reopened to our community, we're not done yet! Join Harvey Fierstein today to help us close our remaining $3 million funding gap to ensure that underrepresented artists of different identities, ideologies, and aesthetics will have a creative home in the East Village for decades to come.
